Sober September Begins

I am starting the 30-day no alcohol challenge #soberseptember today!
Drinking excessive amounts of alcohol is associated with a number of psychiatric conditions, including depression and anxiety, something that I suffer from and hope that giving up alcohol will help.Β  I am starting with the 30-day challenge, I am in good spirits about it (no pun intended) If all goes smoothly like I expect it to, I plan to stop drinking alcohol for good.Β  I know that my liver would appreciate that and my mental health and overall health will improve!Β  I have tried a few different non-alcoholic beers and I quite enjoy Busch NA.Β  I think I could switch to that for good πŸ™‚

Benefits of Sober September:

  • Lower levels of liver fat
  • Improved blood sugars
  • Lower cholesterol
  • Improved sleep
  • Improved concentration
  • Sense of achievement
  • Save money
  • Weight loss
  • Better use of time

  1. Good luck. Sober October seems quite popular round our way (for charity) but back in my old home country (Finland) we had ‘tipaton Tammikuu’ aka dropless January.. not even a drop of alcohol should pass your lips Very common too. Rgds,

  2. I love this idea and know how beneficial it can be for health! I try to do this at least one week per month, but a longer period of abstinence may be in order. Keep us up to date on your progress😍❀️✌🏻
