I am starting the 30-day no alcohol challenge #soberseptember today! Drinking excessive amounts of alcohol is associated with a number of psychiatric conditions, including depression and anxiety, something that I suffer from and hope that giving up alcohol will help. I am starting with the 30-day challenge, I am in good spirits about it (no pun intended) If all goes smoothly like I expect it to, I plan to stop drinking alcohol for good. I know that my liver would appreciate that and my mental health and overall health will improve! I have tried a few different non-alcoholic beers and I quite enjoy Busch NA. I think I could switch to that for good 🙂
Good luck. Sober October seems quite popular round our way (for charity) but back in my old home country (Finland) we had ‘tipaton Tammikuu’ aka dropless January.. not even a drop of alcohol should pass your lips Very common too. Rgds,

This month marks my 5th year of sobriety so I love this post. There are so many great alternatives and soft drinks out there too.
