Day 15, Letter O

The first time I had an OBE I was absolutely terrified, I did not know what had happened and there was nothing that I could think of that I did to trigger it. Keith (who was my boyfriend at this time) asked me if I wanted to join him outside, as he explains it when he looked back I was sound asleep. I heard him ask me and I could see the entire room around me, the game and score of his video game which he shut off as he left the room. I started to feel quite a bit of anxiety when I realized that I was laying down but felt like I was sitting on the edge of the bed. I also started to hear a loud buzzing sound, something I experienced with both of my OBEs. I shot up at once and ran out after him asking why he didn’t wait when I was calling for him. It was a crazy feeling. Out of body experiences can be triggered by a part of your brain, I have had 2 OBE’s in which I witness activity happening in a room when I was sound asleep, did I travel there with my “astral body”?… is our brain so powerful that it can move us into different places that physically we have not experienced yet?
The second time I felt and OBE wasn’t nearly as exciting because I realized much sooner that it was happening because I was familiar with the humming sound, which at first I thought was someone falling above us. I panicked and quickly ‘jumped’ back in. Both times happened while I was sleeping, or just dozing off. It has been over a decade since it has occurred, still not sure how or why. Both incidences where within 2 years of each other. Please share with me if you have ever had an Out Of Body Experince.
