April is Autism Awareness Month!
Today Alexis got to go on a field trip with her Grandma (my mother) to the Children’s Museum. I had to train in at work so my mom agreed to take her, it gave my mom the opportunity to meet all of Alexis’ classmates and teachers, they had a blast.
Alexis’ teacher and my Mother were very concerned about her new ‘walk’ she has been limping a lot off and on the past 2 weeks.
My mom brought her into the doctor after her therapy because both her therapist also seemed concerned about it. The doctor says that she has Toxic synovitis.
Apparently it’s nothing to be too concerned about, we just need to give her an anti-inflammatory when it starts bothering her. She also has a cold, as do the rest of us, so she needs rest.
